Why debate?
Debating is lots of fun and really, really useful. If you want to be able to stand up and persuade an audience to care about what you care about, if you want to win arguments with your friends and to speak out on the issues that you believe in, then you can with Debate Mate.
Once again, we'll be coming in to schools across the country to set up debating clubs which will run for an hour after school. See what some of last year's Debate Mate participants thought:
Debating can help you develop the leadership skills that President Obama and other great world leaders use to persuade people. What's more it can give you skills which employers find incredibly valuable. Whether you want to be a lawyer or a banker, a doctor or a politician, debating can help you get a great job.
